We are followers of Jesus from around the world who desire to see churches and disciples multiply among Somalis in East Africa and among Somali diaspora worldwide. We are praying specifically and strategically for a Church Multiplication Movement. Pray4Somalis exists because of the faithful service of volunteers and collaborates with the global body of Christ.

Prayer can be specific and strategic, based on church multiplication movement research and principles.

Every person should have the chance to hear and respond to the Gospel. Pray4Somalis is not a political movement, it’s a gathering of Christ-followers who share in this belief.

Keep prayer points brief and relevant, usually 4 lines long or less.

Love God, love Somalis, and collaborate with all followers of Christ to fulfill the Great Commission.

Neither under- nor over-estimate man’s role in church multiplication movements

Never use names or details that will endanger people or projects due to the security concerns that come with ministering to Muslims.

Pray faithfully. Pray daily. Pray passionately.

Mobilize prayer through relationships and opportunities God provides by inviting others to join the hundreds worldwide in daily prayer or start a prayer group.
David Garrison, PhD University of Chicago, defines Church Planting Movements as rapidly multiplying indigenous churches planting churches that sweep across a people group or population segment. We prefer the alternate term, Church Multiplication Movement (CMM).
